The moment an angry machete wielding man attacked two electricity distribution agents somewhere in South-west Nigeria. The conflict between electricity disconnections agents and residents dates as far back as one can remember. There are instances of some residents beating up these agents, while others set their dogs on them.

The reasons behind this conflict varies but it basically stems from the exorbitant bills and sometimes unsanctioned disconnections some shady agents carry out. Bear in mind that some residents are chronic defaulters and debtors too.
